To start the new year, Flimmerkiste will take a look back at 2011 and watch ProSieben's Galileo Big Pictures. Also, we'll watch the six-part special ZDF Terra X Series Unterwegs in der Weltgeschichte featuring comedian Hape Kerkeling. Finally, each evening will end with an episode of the award-winning comedy series Stromberg. Come to watch on the Edelweiss Club's big screen, and laugh, learn and speak German!

The Bundesliga begins the Rückrunde with Bayern München at the top of the table, with last year's champions Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach (who just escaped relegation last summer) hot on their heels. Watch Borussia Mönchengladbach host Bayern München in a game recorded earlier in the day from German TV. Come to watch and talk German football!

Join us for board games and conversation. Gambit 7, a trivia game, has been a big hit! Play it join other modern classics like Die Siedler von Catan, Auf Achse, Zug um Zug Märklin, Bohnanza, Scrabble, Tabu, Thurn und Taxis and 6 Nimmt! New games added in 2011 include Linie 1 and ABC DRS 3 deutsch und deutlich.
As always, there will be German music and TV programming to enjoy as well.
Play a favourite, or try something new! A great way to socialize!
