Dear German Speakers,
The Victoria Film Festival will open with a presentation of Margarethe von Trotta's Hannah Arendt, a German production about the life of German American political theorist Hannah Arendt. (Trailer)
The festival runs February 1-10, tickets are on sale as of today.
If you are interested in seeing the second showing on Wednesday, February 6 with other German speakers, you are welcome to join the group I am organizing.
Please let me know if you wish to join us for dinner at the Rathskeller (Quadra at View) at 6:30 PM, or only for the film which begins at 9:15 PM at Empire Theatres downtown (805 Yates).
Please be reminded that in January, German Games Night will take place Fridays January 11 and 25, and that Fußballfreunde will take place Friday, January 18. I hope you will join us!
